Jetta! Jetta! Jetta!

This is my new car! It's a 2011 VW Jetta. Great upgrade from my last car. I kind of took a little rendevous on day and drove quite a ways in my Nissan and came to the realization, once again, that my car would not go over 3,000 RPM's nor accelerate after driving for a period of time. So I talked to Chris about it and we decided to go look at VW's after dinner one night. We found this car and came back the next day to test drive. I told them what my price range was and they came back with $85/month more than what I had stated. Obviously I told them no. They came back with another number and I said no again. And again. And again. And again. And because they were crunched for numbers, I got the price I wanted. Look what I learned from my dad. I love to drive it; it's quiet and smooth, and Chris loves to drive it. I swear he drives it more than I do. My mom just laughs because it's my 3rd new car in 5 years. Hopefully this one will treat me better than my first two. The great thing is is that it's maintenance free!

Boise, Portland, Seattle

(on top of the Space Needle)

Last week, on our way home from Saint George, Chris and I talkedabout taking a quick trip...once again. We've wanted to take one all summer, but then I got sick, he had work and school, and our schedules just didn't match. He finally quit his job and we decided we wanted to take a quick trip up to Portland and Seattle since neither of us had ever been to that section of the country. We, I should say he, decided we should camp to save money on hotels and we camped outside of Seattle for 2 days. I can't exactly say I enjoy camping. It's cold, no light, outside bathrooms, allergies up the wazoo, no mirrors, etc. But there were showers! All in all it was good trip.

.
(brunch...so good!)
We saw the Space Needle and ate brunch on top of the needle. It wentaround three times while we ate so we could seethe entire city. A littlepricey but totally worth it. We also saw the Seattle temple which was under construction as well as theBoise temple. 12 hours of driving back and 14 miles there. Worth the trip tho. I got to spend 4 days with my best friend. I learned some things that drove me crazy about him but nothing I couldn't live with. :)

(waterfront homes...like in Sleepless in Seattle)

6 Months

Believe it or not Chris and I have been dating for 6, now 6 1/2 months and it has been total bliss! (in my eyes). We've spent time with each other's families, took a trip, double dated, and spent lots of time together but enough time apart that we don't get sick of each other. I'm crazy in love with him and know that he is the best thing for me. After 5 years of knowing each other I can finally say he's mine :) This is our first photo together at Lily's baby blessing...took us 6 months to take one. LOL

Home Sweet Home

I have forgotten to mention that I moved...once again. Within the past 9 years I have been graduated from high school, I have moved 9 times if you count living in Virginia on my mission. I was getting tired of driving 30 minutes to work and back each day, and then having to drive up more to see Chris is SLC during the week as well as the weekends. It was getting expensive in gas and time consuming. Drama was also beginning to occur in the apartment so I decided to find anther place to live. I settled on a townhouse in Draper right off of Bangerter Hwy. Now it only takes me 15 minutes to get to work and to Chris' place. Talk about convenience. I feel that it's a much better living situation with 3 other girls. We all have our own schedules and do our own thing but we get along well. Love it!
