Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Talk about a huge snowstorm for us. Ok, so not that big, but we didn't get a storm like this at all last year. It started snowing Friday morning around 8am and has stopped snowing for maybe a couple of hours. Right now it is snowing quite hard outside. I went out and cleaning off my car this morning because I didn't want to have to clean 8 inches of snow off my car Monday morning. When I went out this morning around 11, there was about 5 inches of snow on my car. I can't believe how much it is already snowing and it is only November. If these is a preview of what is to come, it is going to be a long winter. It makes me seriously just want to have a fireplace and cuddle up with a book. But unfortunately, I don't have a fireplace, so sweats and a blanket do just the trick!

My poor car. Not fun to clean off.

This is what it looks like outside right now.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

As a surprise last weekend, Chris bought me a Christmas tree. Pre lit and 7 feet tall. We decided to put it up last weekend with Rylee since we had just bought it. It fits right in the corner of our living room. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to get one because our living room is so small. But have no fear; it fits! It was a wonderful surprise. I'm quite excited to decorate it. Now where's the money???
Not the best picture, but here it is.

Halloween

I spent Halloween with Lily, Ryan, Mom, Jeremy and Ashley and Chris went and spent it with Rylee and Logan. Chris won best costume at his work for dressing up as Mitt Romney, and Rylee was a witch. Lily was a little elephant. Seriously, trick-or-treating is so much fun with the little ones. Every time she got a piece of candy, she would attempt to run down to my mom or Ryan and show what she got. Everyone loved her little outfit. We got a few videos of her since Alicia wasn't able to go, and it was one of the best Halloweens I have had. I can't wait to be able to do it with my own children.

Gardner Village

Right before Halloween, my mom, Alicia, Rylee, Lily, and I all went to Gardner Village on a Friday that I had off. Both my mom and I had fall break so we took a girls' day and had a some fun. Gardner Village was so cute! They were having their Witches Fest. For the little ones, they had a petting zoo, hay maze, pony ride, and other fun activities. The little ones loved it. In the middle of the hay maze, they had a trampoline to jump on. Lily and Rylee had so much fun on it. Rylee would jump and Lily would bounce around. We thought she was crying at first but she was giggling like crazy.
They loved the animals and had a chance to feed them. They were able to "ride" the mama alpaca, feed ducks, chickens, and bunnies. Lily would try and feed the chickens and they would just run away from her. And she would just keep running after them. They both got the chance to ride the ponies and loved it. Rylee rode a one named Hannah Montana and had the time of her life. Lily got tired and just laid down on her pony. It was a lot of fun! Here are some pictures to show!

A Priceless Gift From Heaven

On October 29, 2012, this little bundle from heaven (niece #2) arrived at 7:27PM weighing 5 pds 14 ounces 18.5 inches long. The amazing thing about her birth is that she was born, the same day, 3 years after my dad passed away. She is a teeny tiny little thing and such a cuddle bug. She hardly cries at all, and we kind of laugh because she looked like a little man when she was born. She would make wrinkly faces and scrunch her face it and it made her look like a little man. But she's turning more into a girl and we are so happy to have her!  Mom and baby are doing well, and they came home yesterday just in time for Halloween. Below are some pictures of her!
